SUPERMAN: The Rift

This image shows the opening and expansion of the rift between universes tearing through Metropolis. Lois Lane and the crew fly over the city flying in Mr. Terrific's T-Craft, witnessing the destruction as it unfolds below. The rift cuts through the streets and buildings, sending debris, smoke, and fire into the air. I was tasked with creating the city rift, destruction, scale, and mood. Buildings, smoke, clouds, fire, and vehicles were added to emphasize the size of the rift and the impact it has on the city.
